Dr. John A. Shacklock
In addition to his general dentistry practice, Dr. Shacklock has been a member of the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital since 1994, treating patients in the OR and consulting on the wards and in the emergency room. At the Nordel Dental Clinic we are committed to exceeding our patients’ expectations.

Dr. Sydney Shacklock received her Bachelors of Science (Honours) degree at Queen’s University and recently graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Melbourne in 2022. During her degree’s she was very involved in her University communities, such as being the president of the Melbourne Dental Student Society and Australian Dental Recent Graduates Committee. Practising in both private and public Dental sectors in Australia provided Dr. Shacklock with some very valuable experiences in general dentistry and exposed her to variety of different methods and approaches to treatment depending on the patient and situations. This has lead to Dr. Shacklock tailoring treatment options and solutions based on scientific evidence, patient’s desires, budget and time.
After 4 years in Australia, Sydney is excited to practice in Delta, where she grew up. She is dedicated to ensuring all treatment demonstrates her commitment to practice patient-centred care, where patient needs and expectations are pivotal. She also takes pride in being an empathetic, inclusive and caring individual which aligns closely with her overall demeanor as a dentist and will ensure your experience is as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
